How much water in one day?

According to the Dietary Reference Intakes, an average man over 19 years should drink 3.7 litres of water, while women must drink 2.7 litres of water. The food you eat also contains water, so you must drink at least 2 litres of water each day, as fruits and vegetables have to remaining amount of water required by you. But, if you do a lot of physical work or live in a hot country, then you’ll need enough water to remain hydrated.

If you cannot decide that you are properly hydrated or not, then you can check the colour of your urine. If it is yellow and stinky, then you aren’t properly hydrated at all. But if it is lighter in colour, then you are hydrated.

Cold water vs. lukewarm water

Cold water is often considered to be a good calorie burner people believe that the body needs to burn a lot of calories to warm up again after the cold water enters the body. However, this doesn’t help very much in weight loss, but it can definitely give a shock to your digestive system if the water is extremely cold.

A good diet can really help you in weight loss. The effects of cold water or lukewarm water are the same on weight loss if you drink the right amount of them.

Water at workouts

When you are exercising at the gym, you must drink as much water as you can. This will keep you hydrated during the whole workout session and give you enough energy for a successful workout session. If you feel energized during the session, you’ll exercise harder and lose more weight.

Water is the best drink

If you think that concentrated fruit juice and different kinds of energy drinks are good for your health, then you are wrong. These beverages contain sugar, which can add to your weight and even cause type-2 diabetes. Also, many brands of energy drinks have caffeine in them which is very harmful and can cause insomnia and dehydration.

Instead, you can have water based drinks like herbal tea for more weight loss and for staying healthy. You can also add some honey and lemon in water to make it tastier.

Water is not only essential for life, but it is essential for staying healthy too. If you drink the required amount of water every day, then not only you will feel energized, but also you’ll lose the extra pounds.
